Our commitment to designing made-to-measure luxury bathrooms stems from a surprising place – kitchens. We began as a family-run kitchen design business, Kitchen Style, in 1978. 

Very soon, our satisfied kitchen clients began to ask if we could bring about similar transformations to their bathroom. By the nineties, we were designing as many bespoke bathrooms as we were kitchens.

At this point, we were manufacturing made-to-measure kitchens in-house. It was our manufacturing facility that revolutionised our bathrooms. Having total control over the design of our bathroom furniture meant our inventiveness was no longer frustrated by the need to rely on modular units.

With our workshops, our bathroom designs were limited only by the extent of our imagination. It didn’t take long for our bathroom production to exceed our kitchens.

So, in April 2005, we became Ablutions Luxury Bathrooms, and we haven’t looked back.

(We still design kitchens, under our Louis Bespoke Kitchens brand.)
